he experienced abject poverty, and as such will never want to go through such conditions again in life. He said that some very prominent footbaHers during their active career days made so much money, but failed to prepare fortheirfuture by not investing a percentage of the fat incomes they earned. With emphasis, he stated that as a m'emberofthe U~17team, he made some millions of naira from allowances during the camping periods of the qualifiers, and the championshipproper and through donations from the p'rivate sectors and government. On his ambition, personal lifestyle and regrets in life, he said "Nothing has changed about my lifestyle, I do not see myself as a star yet, I still hang out mostly with myoid friends from the Weekend Soccer Academy at Surulere. I do not smoke or drink alcohol and I keep away from women". |
